Details

METv is a drupal and server configuration which constitutes a turnkey solution to have an asynchronous webtv solution for individuals or small businesses. Video files are automatically converted server-side by ffmpeg, and displayed by Drupal. Taking advantage of the many drupal modules, a voting / commenting / taxonomy system is in place.

METv is available for download.

Extracampus

University webTV developed in Drupal.

Credits

This was a joint initiative between the main universities in my region.

My role was to act as the main developer, while working under contract with the Politecnico di Torino.
I also proposed the webtv implementation which was selected for the website.

Details

Implementation of a webTV platform using Drupal. The website allows both a top-down and a bottom-up approach: videos from a central authority and youtube-like features to form a video sharing community.

Orcosoana.tv

Integrated communication system for a mountain valley and community. Web radio, blog and WebTV.

Details

The site is divided into two parts. The blog and web radio are managed by a Wordpress installation, while the WebTV is managed using Drupal. The two platforms have been integrated.

Dschola TV

A Drupal-based webtv implementation for a network of high schools.

Credits

Dschola is a long-standing project started by CSP Scarl and now maintained by an ad-hoc association.
The main promoter and mastermind of the project is Eleonora Pantò.
Dario Zucchini, Matteo de Simone, Max schiro took part in the project.
